First, the difference of materials:

1. The main raw material of quartz crucible is high purity quartz sand, and its auxiliary materials are graphite electrode, graphite mold and large-size quartz heat shielding plate;

2, the main raw materials of graphite crucible are graphite, clay, silica and wax as raw materials fired into a kind of crucible.

Second, the difference of use:

1, the former is mainly used for drawing monocrystalline silicon, in the laboratory can not only be used for evaporation, concentration and crystallization of the solution can also be used for burning solid substances.

2, the latter is mainly used for smelting non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, gold, silver, zinc and lead and their alloys.

Third, the difference between the production process:

The production process of quartz crucible is more complicated, and it needs to go through many steps such as secondary and tertiary inspection before it can be stored.

The production process of graphite crucible is relatively simple, mainly: hand molding, rotary molding and pressure molding.
